Review: Trip Advisor--When my sisters wanted to take the
scenic boat tour I said I'd pass, but they wanted to spend
most of the day in Winter Park, so I went along. This little boat
tour took us through three lakes and two canals and
lasted almost an hour. The cost is low.Our guide was VERY friendly
and informative about the history of the area. We saw
homes where Fred Rogers lived (Mr. Rogers), Walgreens
(before they expanded their chain of drug stores), and
the site of the Alabama Hotel where Margaret
Mitchell wrote parts of "Gone With the Wind".
Your skipper will indicate
points of historic interest and
nature: Rollins College,Kraft
Azalea Garden, Isle of Sicily
and tropical birds and plants.
