Historical
Downtown Sebring
The City of
Sebring
began in 1911
when
Ohio
pottery magnate George
Sebring purchased 9000 acres surrounding
Lake Jackson. The
city plan he
conceived
centers
around a circular park with
six spoke streets that
radiate outward.

Relax on a park bench under a tree.
Stroll the Circle lined with antique lamp posts. Experience the beauty of
Lake
Jackson
at the pier, (left) and then
walk over to explore The
Cultural Center.
